Our School’s Residential Trips: Developing Character & Faith

At Hampstead Parochial, we believe in the power of experiential learning. Our residential trips are designed not only to offer exciting experiences but also to help develop our students’ personal growth and understanding of Christian values. These trips offer opportunities for Year 6 students to bond, learn, and grow, all while living out our Christian vision of β€œTo live life in all its fullness.”

Year 6: PGL Adventure at Marchants Hill

In March, our Year 6 students embark on an exciting adventure to PGL Marchants Hill, an outdoor activity centre in Surrey. This trip is an essential part of our curriculum and offers a range of team-building exercises that encourage resilience, leadership, and cooperation. The activities allow students to step out of their comfort zones, take responsibility, and support each other in ways that encourage their personal development.

In line with our Christian values, the trip is designed to foster a sense of community, compassion, and trust. Students engage in meaningful discussions about their experiences and reflect on how they can live out their faith through their actions and interactions with others.
