At Hampstead Parochial School, we are proud to offer a high-quality, free, and delicious school meal service provided by Caterlink, the catering partner for the London Borough of Camden.

Our Commitment to Your Child

We believe that a healthy, balanced lunch is essential for your child’s learning and development. All of our meals are freshly prepared on-site by our catering team to align with the stringent School Food Standards and the Food For Life Silver or Gold standards.

What’s on the Menu?

We operate on a three-week menu cycle, ensuring variety and excitement for our students.

Every day, your child can choose from:

  • A Meat main course made with Red Tractor/Farm Assured fresh meat.
  • A Vegetarian main course.
  • Jacket Potatoes with a choice of fillings.
  • Access to our extensive, freshly prepared Salad Bar.

Feedback that Shapes Our Food

We value our pupils’ opinions! At the start of each new seasonal menu cycle, we conduct a 3-week pupil survey. Our dedicated chef, Jerry, uses this feedback to adapt and fine-tune the menu to ensure it caters to the tastes and preferences of our students.

Meals are Free for All Primary Pupils!

All children in our primary school are entitled to a free school meal regardless of family income. Families are welcome to provide packed lunch for their child, at their own discretion.

Important: Pupil Premium Funding

Even though your child receives a free meal, if you meet the criteria for standard Free School Meals (FSM), please still sign up for Pupil Premium funding. This is a vital source of extra funding for our school, which we use to provide additional resources, staffing, and support for your child and the entire school community.

How to Sign Up for Pupil Premium:

If you think you are entitled to claim for Free School Meals, please call into the school office for an application form or the school office will happily send one to you.
