Curriculum Progression Maps

Our Core Drivers of Growth, Creativity and Global Citizenship have inspired our curriculum, and it has been designed with progression across and within year groups at the forefront of our minds.

Growth: Children grow their knowledge year on year, revisiting learning and building on key concepts.

Creativity: We ensure that all children are taught the full curriculum.  We do not narrow the curriculum for SATs!  Foundation subjects are interwoven with core subjects to ensure that children are given the opportunity to be creative and make connections.

Global Citizenship: We celebrate the diversity of our school.   Intentional actions are taken when selecting texts and which topics to study for foundation subjects, to both complement and challenge children’s prior experiences.
