Safeguarding

Hampstead Parochial School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We ensure that consistent, effective safeguarding procedures are in place to support families, children and staff at school.

School Safeguarding Team

All staff have a responsibility to safeguard the children, but our designated safeguarding lead is Laura Hall, and the deputy designated safeguarding leads are Kate Roscoe and Ben Williams.

If you need to contact any of us, please email [email protected] FAO the Safeguarding Team, or call 0207 435 4135.

The nominated governor for child protection and looked-after children is David Rue.

Online safety

We hold regular workshops for parents about the ever-evolving issue of e-safety, and cover the topic in both our Computing and PSHE curricula.

How we protect your children online at school

Our school network is secured and monitored via the LGfL (London Grid for Learning) firewall and content web filter.  We block any inappropriate content and children have restricted access to the internet.

Individual Logins

Pupils have their own individual logins for Chromebooks and any accounts they are set up with, which they are taught to keep private.

Purple Mash

Pupils have individual accounts with Purple Mash through which they access various units of work and software which is safe for pupils to use.
